2011 Matching Calendar for Host Families and Au Pairs

Placement Confimation Deadline Arrival Date in New York Arrival to the Host Family
Matching deadlines are always on a Monday for your convenience.  After matching, your au pair will need 4-6 weeks to secure a J-1 visa through the American Embassy or Consulate. Au pairs always arrive to New York on a Monday to begin the Orientation and Training Program. Au pairs are ready to travel on the Friday of the arrival week.  If you are picking your au pair up from Orientation, he/she can leave Thursday after 6pm.
