Welcome to InterExchange Au Pair USA. My name is Penny Pierce and I have been a Local Coordinator for the Au Pair USA program since 2008. I joined InterExchange because I strongly believe in the goals of the program: to promote international cultural exchange and to provide flexible and affordable live-in child care options to local families.

To tell you a bit about myself: I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and absolutely appreciate all it has to offer. I am married and am blessed with a terrific daughter. We currently reside in Hoffman Estates with our two dogs, a bird and a fish. I have a degree in Elementary Education and am currently credentialed in the State of Illinois as a developmental therapist. I have also worked on both sides of the child care field as a nanny and mother looking to hire a babysitter/daycare center. I use all these experiences and skills to assist my host families and au pairs. I am sure you will find me to be dedicated, conscientious, confidential and genuinely interested in helping make hosting an au pair a rewarding experience for you!
