Welcome to the InterExchange Au Pair USA Los Angeles, CA cluster! We provide busy families with qualified, live-in international au pair child care in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Torrance. My name is Jana Kuehler and I am proud to be the newest Local Coordinator in LA County.  My family and I reside in beautiful Manhattan Beach, CA just outside of Los Angeles. We recently moved here from The Netherlands where we lived almost 4 years. My husband and I grew up together in the Dallas area and have had many life adventures together including raising three great children.  

My background is in psychology, recruiting and volunteer coordination. Being a mother and expatriate has given me a skill set that allows me to relate to both host families and au pairs. I have a first hand understanding of both the challenges and innumerable benefits involved in cultural exchange. I am thrilled to be in a position to facilitate high quality child care for host families while continuing to meet, support and learn about new cultures with the au pairs.

All InterExchange au pairs are pre-screened and interviewed before arriving to the U.S. Once they arrive they go through a comprehensive training program where they learn CPR, First Aid and child development. InterExchange Au Pair USA sponsors each au pair’s J-1 Visa which allows the au pair to legally work in the U.S. for 12 months. The au pair program can be extended for up to 24 months. Once you join our program, I will guide you throughout the process of selecting and welcoming your au pair!
