Local Coordinator Recruitment
The Local Coordinator (LC) plays an important role in the Au Pair USA program. A Local Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to be the local representative of the Au Pair USA program, providing year-round support to the “cluster,” or group of host families and au pairs in their community. Local Coordinators work from home part-time to promote the program and ensure all program participants are following the U.S. Department of State guidelines as well as InterExchange Au Pair USA program policies.
The Local Coordinator position is multi-faceted; it requires the LC to assume a variety of roles, including marketer, mentor, mediator and group leader. It is a challenging, yet rewarding position. Many Local Coordinators develop lasting friendships with the host families and au pairs in their cluster, and they also have the satisfaction of being an integral part of a positive cultural exchange experience.
The right candidate will work from home part-time providing support and guidance for host families and au pairs. Other responsibilities include planning fun and educational events for the au pairs and working to develop a larger client base through community marketing and local sales initiatives.
