Au Pairs — The Best Child Care for Your Family

InterExchange Au Pair USA knows the daycare and babysitter cycle just doesn't work for most busy families. We offer an affordable, reliable child care solution that does! Our au pairs work with your unique schedule and lifestyle, providing personalized, loving child care for your family at an affordable rate. Au Pair USA is one of the only non-profit au pair agencies designated by the U.S. Department of State in the industry, and with over 20 years of experience and a member of the International Au Pair Association (IAPA), we are confident we can find the perfect au pair for you!

What Au Pair USA offers:

  • The best candidates — we fully screen and interview every au pair in our extensive database. All Au Pair USA candidates love children and are extremely enthusiastic about this cultural exchange opportunity. Our candidates speak English and have previous child care experience. We also require all au pairs attend a thorough Orientation and Training Program before arriving to your home.
  • Payment plans that fit your budget — Hosting an au pair isn't just for the rich and famous! Our program fees equal out to around $7.50 an hour per family, not per child!
  • A flexible schedule for all of life's little hiccups — Au pairs work up to 45 hours a week and and can match your family's unique schedule. Finding someone for snow days, sick days and even date nights will no longer be a problem!
  • A chance for you and your children to experience the world — As one of the only non-profit au pair agencies in the U.S., we are able to focus on the core principles of the U.S. Department of State-sponsored au pair program: the happiness of our host families and au pairs and cultural exchange. Sharing different cultures and languages with your children will spark a life-long love of curiosity and learning. And helping your au pair learn about culture in the U.S. will be one of the most rewarding experiences of the program for your family.

Au Pair USA Success Stories!

What Our Host Families Say

“Sabrina is flexible and has a positive can-do attitude and is always willing to help out.  She is always respectful and well organized, and most importantly, she demonstrates a genuine concern for the nurturing and welfare of the children.”

~ Slusher Family, Glen Ellyn, IL

“Marko is truly integrated into our family and we are better for having him here.  We enjoy family meals where we sit and talk long after the plates have been cleared.  He doesn’t hesitate to ask if any of us would like to join him at the tennis courts, for a hike on nearby trails, or a trip to the ice cream or smoothie store!  He is excited about all of the children’s activities and participates however he can.”

~ Stone Family, McLean, VA
