Well-Screened and Qualified Staff
All applicants in our International Camp Staff Placement program undergo in-person interviews by an InterExchange Camp USA staff member or a trained international cooperator, and must include two references and a police background check with their application.
No Program Fees Charged to Camps for Returning and Pre-Placed Staff
For camps that have returning staff or have found international staff on their own, our Pre-Placed J-1 Visa Sponsorship program provides participants with the documentation to apply for their J-1 Visas. Medical insurance and 24-hour support throughout the summer are also included. Participants pay minimal fees directly to Camp USA so camps will not pay any fees to Camp USA for these staff members.

Camp USA office staff runs every element of the program from start to finish. We travel to many countries to personally interview participants before accepting them into the program, and visit camps during the summer to understand each camp’s unique culture. We handle placements, J-1 Visa paperwork, flights, insurance, billing, and every other detail involved in hiring international staff. You’ll never be transferred to another department or speak to someone who is unfamiliar with your camp.
