Hiring International Summer Camp Staff: Options Available
Whether you've already hired international counselors and support staff or are just starting to consider it, we've got plenty of options available to you.
If You Need Help Finding Staff:
Interested in hiring counselors and support staff from abroad, but not sure where to start? Check out our Camp Staff Placement Option. It covers the entire process from start to finish, including: recruitment, interviews, J-1 Visa sponsorship, assisting with travel arrangements, providing accident and sickness insurance, orientations, and ongoing support throughout the season.
We are able to fill a variety of camp jobs, including all types of counselors and support staff.
If You've Already Hired International Staff:
If you've already found international staff or have returning staff, they will need to get a visa sponsor to bring them to the U.S. We're happy to provide that service through our Direct Placement Option. With this option, camps pay no program fees. InterExchange provides J-1 Visa documentation, insurance arrangements, and 24-hour support throughout the summer for camp directors and international staff.
