International Internship & Trainee Placement Program

InterExchange specializes in finding high-quality international interns and trainees for U.S. employers. Our recruitment experts work closely with you to assess your needs and expectations of international participants. Then, in collaboration with our network of international cooperators and universities, we recruit and screen candidates from more than 40 countries. Our thorough screening process ensures that all participants are qualified to receive a J-1 Visa before you review their applications. We handle the details so you can concentrate on hiring the best person for your business.

How it Works:

  1. Register with us for free.
  2. An account manager will contact you to discuss your hiring needs and help create a job description and training plan for each position.
  3. You and your account manager will agree upon a job description, which will be posted on our Internship Board so that candidates can begin to apply.
  4. We send you the applications of pre-screened candidates.
  5. You review the applications and tell us whom you wish to interview.
  6. Your account manager will coordinate the interviews with each candidate.
  7. You notify us whom you wish to hire.
  8. You submit the finalized Host Employer Agreement Form and  Training Plan (DS-7002).
  9. We provide applicants with the appropriate documentation to apply for their J-1 Visas at the Embassy/Consulate and assist with pre-departure preparations

Once the participant is approved for the program, he or she can arrive as soon as 2-3 weeks, depending on the wait time for a visa appointment.
