Assistance with the J-1 Visa Process and Other Logistics

With InterExchange, you don’t have to worry about handling the visa process alone. We will help you secure all of the required documents, and make sure that everything is in order before you arrive in the US.

We will also assist you with medical and accident insurance, obtaining a Social Security card, and making travel arrangements.

Orientation Before you Arrive in the US

When you travel to a new country and culture, you may not know what to expect. We help you prepare for your time in the United States with a full orientation program before you leave your home country. If you are participating in our Job Placement program, you’ll also have an orientation session in New York City. We’ll share tips on living and working in the US, and provide helpful information on adapting to American culture.

24-Hour Help and Support

As an InterExchange Work & Travel USA participant, you will have access to 24-hour emergency support from the InterExchange staff. Simply call our hotline if you require assistance. You can also turn to us for general support throughout your stay. With InterExchange, you are never on your own.
