Our Recruiting & Application Process

InterExchange works with an extensive network of international cooperators and universities throughout more than 40 countries to recruit highly qualified candidates for internships and training programs in the USA.

J-1 Visa Sponsorship

If you’re eligible to host interns and trainees and you’ve already identified a candidate, you can get started right away.  Your intern or trainee will fill out a thorough application and submit it to an international cooperator in their home country or directly to InterExchange’s headquarters in New York City if there is no cooperator.  You will also need to submit a Host Employer Agreement Form and DS-7002. Each application is subject to a careful review to ensure that the candidate meets the program requirements and is eligible for a J-1 Visa.

Internship Placement

If you’re interested in hosting interns and trainees but haven’t hired anyone yet, InterExchange Career Training USA can find world-class candidates for you.  Simply let us know your needs and interests and we’ll recruit and pre-screen all candidates on your behalf.  You’ll then have the chance to evaluate several pre-screened and approved candidates for each internship you’re looking to fill. You always make the final hiring decision, and we’ll provide J-1 Visa sponsorship to your chosen candidate.  And as always, we will assist you with the entire process.
