Summer camp is an American tradition. Each year, millions of children and teenagers enjoy the fun and freedom of attending camp. With more than 12,000 camps in the USA, there are plenty of job opportunities available every summer for international applicants like you.

Summer camp jobs are ideal if you enjoy the outdoors, like working with children, have special skills and like an informal working environment. Working at camp can be demanding, but also incredibly fun. When you work at a summer camp, you’re sure to leave with memories that last a lifetime.

To participate in InterExchange Camp USA placement program, you must be:

  • Between the ages of 19 and 28
  • A student, teacher, youth worker, or have specialized skills
  • A university student, if you’re applying for support staff positions
  • Proficient in English
  • Able to attend a home-country orientation and interview
  • Highly motivated
  • Able to participate in the program for 8 to 15 weeks
