Welcome to the United States! InterExchange is here to help you with the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). SEVIS is a United States Government computerized system that collects and manages data about foreign students and exchange visitors during their stay, including InterExchange participants. SEVIS tells the U.S. government where you live, where you work, and your legal status during your program.

Please check the list below to find out which SEVIS instructions you should follow:

Work & Travel USA

Please use the form below to register with SEVIS.

You must register your information with SEVIS no later than 10 days after arriving in the USA. You must also register every 30 days after your initial registration until you return home. Please do not register before you arrive. To register, simply fill in the form below. Please remember to submit your information no later than 10 days after your arrival. If you do not provide your information and do not re-register every 30 days, you will be removed from the program and required to leave the country immediately. You may also jeopardize your ability to obtain another visa to enter the U.S. If you have questions about registering with SEVIS, feel free to contact us at 1-800-621-1202 or worktravel@interexchange.org.

When you register, please provide the following information:

The address where you are living. Please enter a physical housing address, not a post office box (PO Box)
The name and address of the business where you are working. If you have more than one job, please enter the information of your primary (first) employer.
If you do not have a job within 10 days of your arrival, you must still submit your address information.

Updating Your Information

If you change your address during your time in the USA, or if you switch jobs, you must update your SEVIS information within 10 days. To update your information, simply resubmit the form below with your new information. Remember: All job changes must be approved by InterExchange first.

Au Pair USA

Au pairs: you do not need to fill in the form below to register with SEVIS. The Au Pair USA office handles all SEVIS forms on your behalf.

Camp USA

Please use the form below to register with SEVIS.

You must register your information with SEVIS no later than 2 days after arriving at your camp. You must also register every 30 days after your initial registration until you return home. Please do not register before you arrive at your final destination (your contracted camp). To register, simply fill in the form below. Please remember to submit your information no later than 2 days after your arrival at camp. If you do not provide your information and do not re-register every 30 days, you will be removed from the program and required to leave the country immediately. You may also jeopardize your ability to obtain another visa to enter the U.S. If you have questions about registering with SEVIS, feel free to contact us at 1.800.597.1722 or campusa@interexchange.org.

When you register, please provide the following information:

The address where you are living (the camp's address).
Please enter any specific about physical housing address (e.g., Cabin or Bunk numbers). Do not list a post office box (PO Box).
The name and address of the business where you are working.
In most cases this is the same as the address where you are living. If you have more than one job, please enter the information of the camp.

Career Training USA

Interns and Trainees: The Career Training USA team will email you with information about SEVIS once you arrive in the U.S. Do not fill in the form below.
