J-1 Visas Jobs and Staff

J-1 Visa programs allow international citizens to work, train, and travel legally in the United States. Under U.S. State Department regulations, J-1 Visa students, trainees, interns, and seasonal staff are able to work legally in the U.S. as part of a cultural exchange program. Participants can work, train, and earn money while they experience daily life in the United States.
InterExchange sponsors J-1 Visas for the following types of travel:
- Foreign nationals to obtain further academic qualifications or gain practical experience/training in a specific area of knowledge or expertise
- Foreign nationals to pursue business and industrial training programs in the U.S.
- Foreign nationals to serve as counselors in U.S. summer camps
- Foreign nationals to become au pairs and live with an American host family
InterExchange also assists U.S. employers with hiring international interns, seasonal staff, summer camp counselors, and support staff to fill seasonal and trainee positions. We offer internship placement services, matching employers with qualified candidates from our network. For employers who have already found their own candidates, we also offer self-arranged internships.
