A Cure for Your Staffing Headaches

Start Recruiting Summer 2012 Staff Today
The U.S. Department of State is implementing stricter guidelines for the Summer Work Travel program which will reduce the number of "walk-in" and last-minute student arrivals to support your peak seasons.  This means it's more important than ever confirm the placement of your international staff now.  Register today to be prepared with qualified seasonal staff for your busy summer 2012 season.

Finding the right people to staff any business is difficult enough. It’s even harder when you need to fill the same positions season after season, year after year. InterExchange can ease that burden.

Once you register with us, you’ll be assigned an experienced Account Representative who will be responsible for finding the best candidates for your business. You have final say over who you hire, but you can leave the details to us. Need more convincing? Explore all of the benefits of our program:

Free Service

U.S. employers pay no fees for our service. Ever.

The participants in our program pay a reasonable fee to cover our services. Employers are responsible for paying staff wages, but InterExchange charges no program fees to employers.

Personalized Attention

We make it our business to understand your business. Your dedicated Regional Account Representative will take the time to learn about your company, the services it offers, and the general working environment. Then, he or she will evaluate potential candidates based on their skills, personalities, and desired positions. You’ll choose from applicants who have been pre-screened to match your specific needs.

No Legal or Logistic Hassles

We take care of the legal and bureaucratic issues associated with bringing an international student to the U.S.—from sponsoring the J-1 Visa to assisting the student in obtaining a Social Security number. We also provide orientation to prepare the students for life in the U.S. and help coordinate transportation and arrival/departure dates.

Of course, if you wish to handle these details with your staff and simply need a J-1 Visa sponsor, we can do that, too.

Full Season Coverage

International university students have longer academic breaks than U.S. students, so they can work for longer stretches of time. By staggering staff arrival dates, you can enjoy full-season coverage.

Year-Round Availability

Because we recruit students from all over the world, we can fill positions at any time in the year. Participants from countries in the Northern Hemisphere are generally available to work between May and October. Students from the Southern Hemisphere work between December and April.

An International Workplace

By hiring international students, you allow young people from around the world to experience “the real United States.”  In turn, your business will share in the benefits of cultural exchange. Don’t worry about a language barrier—all of the international students on our program are evaluated for their English skills.

Contractual Commitments

International students in our program sign a contract agreeing to work through their full commitment and meet all job requirements.  Because the students often working to finance their education, they are especially motivated and serious about fulfilling their obligations.
