J-1 Visa Placement Locations
Most placements are in isolated resort areas throughout the U.S., and not in major cities. You'll have opportunities to hike, swim, play sports, ride horses, and go boating, depending on your placement and the opportunity to travel throughout the U.S. at the end of your J-1 Visa program. You can make a specific request on your application, but should remain flexible.
