Application Process

Interested in teaching English overseas? We’re glad to hear it! It will be a rewarding experience that you’ll never forget. As an InterExchange Working Abroad participant, you’ll have the full support of our experienced team, as well as our trusted international cooperators, throughout your international teaching program.

Here’s how the application process works:

  1. Download and submit our pre-application form, along with your $75 application fee. (You can pay online to speed up the application processing)
  2. Once we accept your pre-application, we’ll send you a second application specifically for Teaching English Overseas.
  3. Complete and submit your Teaching English Overseas Application
  4. We will send your information to our international cooperator in the country where your desired program is based.
  5. We will inform you of your acceptance and placement no later than 2 – 3 weeks before your start date.

Specific procedures vary from country to country, and our international cooperator will be your first point of contact. But if you ever have any questions or issues, just call 1-800-597-3675 or email us.
