Application & Matching Process for Au Pair Abroad

Interested in becoming an au pair? We’re glad to hear it! It will be a rewarding experience that you’ll never forget. As an InterExchange Working Abroad au pair, you’ll have the full support of our experienced team, as well as our trusted international cooperators.

Here’s how the application & matching process works:

1. Download and submit our pre-application form, along with your $75 pre-application fee. (You can pay online to speed up the application processing)
2. Once we accept your pre-application, we’ll send you a second application specifically for Au Pair Abroad.
3. Complete and submit your Au Pair Abroad Application.
4. We will send your information to our international cooperator in the country where you wish to serve as an au pair.
5. The international cooperator will match you with potential host families.
6. The host family may interview you via phone, Skype or web conferencing.
7. If it’s a good match and you accept the position, our international cooperator will help you with visa issues, travel arrangements and other logistics.
