Responsible Service of Alcohol Course
With tens of thousands of bars, pubs, and restaurants licensed to serve alcohol in Australia’s most populous state of New South Wales (NSW), responsible serving and responsible drinking of alcohol has become an important issue in recent years.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training is now mandatory for people working in the NSW liquor industry, including licensees, club secretaries, permanent and casual servicing staff, and security staff.
If you plan to work any jobs in hospitality establishments that serve alcohol during your time in New South Wales, it’s essential that you take this course. Candidates with previous experience in hospitality and a completed RSA course will have a better chance to find jobs in Sydney. A large percentage of job placements in Sydney and its environs require an RSA certificate.
