Raleigh Resources

Before an au pair arrives to our Raleigh Cluster, as the Local Coordinator, I prepare a Welcome Packet with brochures, travel guides, and information I have collected from around the area. I also email information to the au pair before he or she arrives in the US for orientation in New York City. I want to be sure the au pair has the opportunity to begin learning about her or his new home as soon as possible. My hope is this list of resources will be helpful for au pairs, host families, and  anyone new to the Raleigh area or anyone wanting to learn more about Raleigh.

I like calling the Raleigh Area Home:

What places, activities, and resources would you add to the list?  What questions do you have about the area?
