Sustainable Action Costa Rica Nominated for Study Abroad Innovation Award

We’re so proud to announce that our Sustainable Action Costa Rica program has been nominated for a GoAbroad Innovative New Study Abroad Program award!
Sustainable Action is an 8-day, intensive winter break or gap year program that provides an in-depth experience in social and environmental sustainability. We couldn’t be happier that this innovative program experience is being recognized by the great people at GoAbroad.
And even more, we’re proud that our participants on this inaugural Sustainable Action tour found it to be an invaluable experience.
“I had always wanted to go to Latin America and this trip surpassed my expectations,” one of our participants, Isaac, said. “From the large picture of hiking around a volcano and going zip-lining to the small and genuine happiness experienced during several parts of the trip, everything was very, very fun. It was also very educational and informative about the conditions in Costa Rica and some challenges that are to be overcome. Overall, one of the most fun experiences of my life and I am excited to return to Costa Rica in the future.”
Similarly, our participant Kathryn said that her experience was “absolutely phenomenal.”
