Provide InterExchange with basic information about your camp and staffing needs for the upcoming summer. We’ll review your application, and then you’ll receive an email from us with your personal account info. This will allow you to log in to review applications and confirm your hires.

2. Match

Log in to your account to review applications

Our online matching system connects you with hundreds of enthusiastic, qualified applicants from around the world. You can browse through applicant profiles and refine your search to find exactly what you need. By making your camp profile public, applicants can also contact you directly and express interest in your camp. On top of all that, you’ll have a personal InterExchange representative assigned to your camp that can handpick applications based on your staffing needs. However you prefer to hire, we’re here to help you find the perfect match!

3. Hire

Once you know who you want to hire, you can make job offers directly to those applicants using our online system. All you’ll have to do is login and enter their contract dates and position!

After this step, we keep the process simple for you. We’ll assist each applicant with J-1 Visa sponsorship, travel arrangements, orientation, insurance, and other logistics. For the staff you’ve hired, you can track their visa status, flight information as well as their complete application with all required documents.

Camp Fairs

We love bringing our camp employers overseas to experience the customs and cultures of our international applicants through our camp fairs. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with, interview, and hire many qualified applicants in person. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we do not plan to host any in-person Camp Fairs for the upcoming summer.

Selecting Staff

Our team wants to help you create an unforgettable summer for your campers. Here are a few things to consider in order to hire the best possible team:

Diversity

A diverse camp team means more perspectives and languages, and an exciting cultural exchange experience for your campers! We recruit candidates from 19 different countries.

English ability

Communication at camp is important. We give you the ability to watch application videos, arrange interviews, and search by English level to determine if candidates are the right fit.

Unique skills

Our diverse group of candidates allows you to find counselors who can do almost anything! Search by skill using our online system.

Experience

Do you need counselors with teaching certifications or child care experience? Search by experience level to find the right candidates.

Early recruiting

The earlier you begin hiring, the better chance you have to find the right counselors for your camp! Candidates are available for job offers as early as November, and we encourage camps to hire as early as possible.
