Designated by the U.S. Department of State to sponsor the J-1 Visa, InterExchange Work & Travel USA matches U.S. host employers to English-speaking international students for short-term, seasonal jobs across the United States. Students use their earnings to finance the trip and travel around the U.S. after they finish their work commitments. Host employers and participants benefit from the cultural exchange experience and develop a lifelong appreciation for other cultures. Details such as J-1 Visa processing, paperwork, and orientation are all included in program services.

If you have a gift for exceptional customer service and a dedication to promoting international cultural exchange, we want you to be our new Employer Relations Specialist. Employer Relations Specialists work in a fast-paced, team environment interfacing with hundreds of American host employers and international exchange visitors participating in the 2017 Summer Work and Travel USA program. Duties include providing ongoing client support throughout the season and ensuring and documenting compliance with U.S. Department of State regulations.
Adequate to perform the essential functions of the job such as using a telephone, answering emails, filing paperwork, viewing a computer screen, and operating office equipment.
The duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office environment. The position generally involves frequent standing, continuous sitting, frequent walking, light to moderate lifting, light carrying, frequent bending and reaching, keyboarding and telephone operation, and in-person communication.
