Payment and Refund Policies
We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance coverage at the time of making any initial payment for a program.

Work & Travel Australia
$100 is paid upon signing up. The balance of your program fee will be due once we receive your flight itinerary with a confirmed arrival date, so that we can finalize your booking. If you cancel more than 14 days before your program start date, you will receive a refund minus the $100 deposit. No refunds will be given for cancellation 15 days or less prior to your program start date. No portion of program fees will be refunded should your program end earlier than anticipated. No refunds will be given in the unlikely event of a visa or work permit denial.
Work & Travel Canada
A $100 non-refundable deposit is paid upon signing up, which counts toward the total program fee. The total program fee is due prior to the nomination date individually communicated by the InterExchange advisor to the applicant, or within 60 days from the date of initial application submission. Once we’ve sent you your R.O. letter, the full program fee is non-refundable. If you cancel prior to receiving an R.O. letter, the full program fee is refundable minus a $100 cancellation fee.
If we are unable to accept your application you will receive a refund of the deposit and/or full program fee. In the event of a waitlist: If the waitlisted applicant cancels prior to being offered a placement, the $100 deposit is refundable. Deposits or program fees paid during one program year are not transferable to a different program year.
No portion of program fees will be refunded should your program end earlier than anticipated. No refunds will be given in the unlikely event of a visa or work permit denial. If adding our Job Placement service: once a job has been offered the additional $295 Job Placement fee is non-refundable.
Communication is key to success in this program. Applicants with 30 days of no-contact prior to nomination will be automatically cancelled.

Tutor English in Germany
$100 is paid upon submitting your initial application documents. The balance of your program fee will be due on an agreed upon date with your InterExchange advisor, to occur after we receive your final application documents and before we begin the host family matching process. If you cancel before matching with a host family, you will receive a refund minus the $100 deposit. If you cancel after host family matching, you receive a 50% refund minus the $100 program deposit. No portion of program fees will be refunded should your program end earlier than anticipated. No refunds will be given in the unlikely event of border entry denial.
