About USA 250 at InterExchange
The Semiquincentennial — America's 250th — is the largest commemorative effort in U.S. history, bipartisan and led by the congressionally-appointed U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission. For J-1 participants, it's an open door to neighborhoods, parks, and capitals across the country. Both programs below run nationwide with events designed for community attendance — no ticket needed.
Communities across the country gather with live music, shared moments, and local celebrations that reflect the spirit of America250 — neighborhood gatherings, large public events, host-your-own.
The Freedom Trucks bring American history to your neighborhood. Each truck has interactive exhibits, a tribute wall honoring 50 American heroes, and a chance to digitally sign the Declaration of Independence. Free and open to everyone.
