2. Video Interview
We'll review your application and contact you within a couple of business days to set up a video call and discuss the next steps.
3. Match with a School
Once a school has selected you, we’ll send you the details along with contact information for your school coordinator (your point-person at your placement) so you can connect before you leave the U.S.
4. Get Your Visa and Flight
After your school placement is confirmed, you can book your flight and apply for the visa (we’ll provide visa application instructions).
5. Review Resources from InterExchange
We’ll provide teaching and cultural resources, including sample lesson plans to help you prepare.
You’ll be met at the airport in Bangkok or Chiang Mai (we’ll let you know the specific arrival details closer to your start date) and taken to the hotel for a week-long orientation. This is a chance to connect with fellow participants, practice teaching, and get helpful information about living and working in Thailand. After orientation, you’ll travel to your school placement (transport to your placement is included in the program).
