You’ll be supported throughout your international adventure, from pre-departure to post-program.
Pre-departure
You’ll have a dedicated program coordinator to answer any and all questions you have about your experience. You’ll also receive pre-departure resources, including sample lesson plans to help you prepare for your teaching role and instructions on how to apply for the visa.
In Thailand
Our in-country partner will greet you upon arrival and host a comprehensive orientation to help you prepare for your new life in Thailand. You’ll attend sessions on TEFL theory, Thai language, and local culture. Thailand-based staff are available for support for the duration of your program. If you have concerns or want travel advice, don’t hesitate to contact them!
You’ll also be invited to a Facebook group for English teachers in Thailand—a great way to stay connected with fellow participants post-orientation.
At your school, you’ll have a school coordinator (usually the head of the English department) to provide guidance.
After Your Program
Our staff remain available to help with the transition into your next life chapter. As an InterExchange alumni you'll also have access to benefits like our Language Partner Program, so you can keep working on your Thai or another language with a native speaker.
