After You Apply
Proof of Insurance: All participants of the Work & Travel Ireland program must possess international accident and sickness insurance ($1,000,000 coverage minimum) including: medical evacuation ($500,000 minimum); repatriation of remains ($100,000 minimum); terrorism ($50,000 minimum); accidental death/dismemberment ($25,000); and emergency reunion ($15,000). You may wait until you are accepted into the program and your placement is confirmed before emailing us proof of coverage.
Visa Information: Those applying for a 12-month program will need to apply through an Irish consulate in the U.S. for a Working Holiday Visa at their own cost (about $360 including return postage). This will happen after you complete your InterExchange application and we will help you get started with this. The whole process can take several weeks, so please plan ahead.
Those applying for a four-month program will have the visa arranged on their behalf; the cost is included in our listed price.
