Halloween Festivities in our Atlanta, GA Cluster
InterExchange Au Pair USA's Michael Gates recently spent the day with the Atlanta, Georgia cluster for their second Host Family Day event in 2010. Organized by local coordinator Cara Harper and hosted by the Allen Family and their au pair Martin Hoenig, the Halloween themed event included activities for the children, prizes for the best Halloween costume, pumpkin decorating and even a piñata!
During the event, Michael Gates talked with families about au pair program updates and shared information about the new online system that will be launched soon for Au Pair USA. Cara also highlighted October birthdays for au pairs in her cluster.
The best costume prize was awarded to Lizbeth Gabriela Romo Gaxiola from Mexico for her Mad Hatter's costume. Other favorite costumes included Tinkerbell, a postal worker, a human billboard, nuns, witches and gypsies!
Many thanks to the Allen family for their hospitality and generosity they showed by hosting the event, and to Cara Harper for her continued leadership for our Atlanta area au pairs!
