There are so many fantastic things about camp that it’s hard to choose a highlight!
I think my favourite part of camp as a whole is that in an increasingly screen to screen world, where social pressures influence how people act, camp is a place where you can be as silly as you want!
Every day, you are a role model to kids and you are demonstrating that it is okay to be your crazy wacky self! You also get to witness first hand kids unlocking their full potential and accomplishing things that they never thought were possible.
Sometimes the smallest and seemingly meaningless things are the most important and most memorable. The crazier and sillier you act, the better it is for the kids!
One of the things that we did together was learn how to solve a Rubik’s Cube! Those two photos were the exact moment I solved it for the first time, I screamed for like five minutes. Rebecca, in the pink, is the one who was patient enough to teach me!
Can I go back next year?
