Learn Spanish with classes, then practice with locals while enjoying warm, welcoming, and wonderful Peru! This program offers a variety of course packages for all levels and a range of accommodation options, such as homestays, which include breakfast and dinner prepared by your host. Classes take place Monday through Friday and you can stay as many weeks as you want!

Sign Up
Sign up Enroll through Maximo Nivel’s booking system and someone from their team will reach out.
Plan
Discuss your program preferences with your Maximo Nivel coordinator, finalize and pay for your program.
Travel
Book your flight, provide your itinerary details to your coordinator, and travel to Peru!
Arrival & Orientation
A program representative will meet you at the airport (CUZ) on Sunday and will transport you to your host family’s home (or alternative accommodation). Your hosts will make sure you know how to get to the office Monday morning for a brief orientation session and informal placement exam.
Course Options
Classes take place with certified, native Spanish-speaking teachers and happen at the beautiful Maximo Nivel facilities in Cusco. You’ll choose between group or private lessons, or both, and study for anywhere between 1 and 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday. You’ll meet with a staff member on your first day to establish the most appropriate class according to your language level, whether you’re a complete beginner or already conversational.
Accommodation Options
Choose from several accommodation options through the Maximo Nivel program, or arrange your own. If you book through the program we recommend host family accommodation, which includes breakfast and dinner 7 days/week. It’s a great way to get a bit more language practice with your hosts and meet other travelers at the same time.
If you prefer, hostel or hotel accommodation options are also available. Please inquire when completing the initial interest form linked above.
Accommodation for friends, couples, and groups can be arranged.
Weekends, Free Time, & Departure
Weekends are free to explore Peru or arrange excursions. At least once per week, the program has an activity (salsa dancing, cooking class, etc.) to bring participants together. Your program will end the morning of your final Saturday; if you need to arrange an extra night or two, this can be added at an additional cost.
Cost
Please inquire with Maximo Nivel for the latest pricing but in general, a week of classes starts at around $75 and host family accommodation can be added for about $150/week. Discounts are available for stays of 4+ weeks.
