What is it?
The J-1 Visa is a temporary visa for cultural exchange programs. It’s a stamp or sticker in your passport that lets you enter the United States to work, learn, and experience American culture. You must return to your home country when your program ends. Since your passport and visa are your most important travel documents, be sure to keep your documents safe throughout your program.
