Receiving your insurance ID
You will receive your insurance ID card once you are in the U.S. and have an active SEVIS record. Please follow the below steps to receive your ID card and prepare to use your insurance:
- Register your arrival through your InterExchange dashboard within 10 days so we can activate your SEVIS record.
- A day or two after registering your arrival, you will receive your insurance ID card via email from [email protected].
- Download or print your insurance ID card from your email
- Register for your MyIMG account on the insurance website. We recommend that you do this as soon as you receive your insurance ID so that you are ready for any future doctor’s visits.
- The healthcare system in the U.S. can be quite confusing! Learn more about using your insurance as an international participant.
